Kornel Heard

Kornel has spent his professional career in the insurance industry working for top insurance corporations like AIG, Allstate and Balboa. He has served in many senior leadership capacities pertinent to claims, law and regulations, compliance, catastrophe management and operations. He is one of the rare executives that also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt which has enabled him to define and remediate functional inefficiencies, operational refinements, strategic vision and expense leakage issues.  He has spent 34 years of his professional career solving problems and optimizing the customers experience in the world of personal property, casualty and liability insurance.   Over the past 10 years, he has been refining his golf game by spending 70% of his time chipping and putting. He applies some of this professional improvement expertise to his golf game. His dedication caused some of the pro shop staff, at The Crossings in Carlsbad, CA, to recognize the undeniable skills of his short game. This was understood long before Steve Henderson and Kornel met. That recognized skill is what brought the two of them together. In the first conversation Kornel and Steve had, Steve asked an arbitrary question which was; “What are the three most important words ever spoken?” Kornel ’s response was; “It is finished!”  Instantaneously, the two knew they were bonded and realized their relationship would be incredibly special. Not having a clue as to what would await them about a year later!   Kornel enjoys family, reading, learning, analyzing, inspiring people to improve; physically, spiritually and mentally. He also enjoys the passion of cooking, painting and of course and certainly not least, golfing!  He has a passion for the family and is on a mission to help restore core fundamentals in families and stop the cycle of the breakdown of the family.
