Steven Henderson
Co-founder
Steve Henderson has been around golf his entire life. His father, Lee Henderson, upon retiring from a career in the Navy, became head golf pro of a private course in Northern California, where he was head pro for 27 years. Steve spent his summers and available spare time working odd jobs at his dad's course and honing his own skills as an amateur golfer, where Steve spent 4 years on the high school Varsity Golf team. After graduating from college, Steve found his calling for Sales and proceeded to spend the next three decades as a Sales and Marketing Executive, mostly in Silicon Valley, calling on Fortune 100 companies such as Apple, IBM, HP and AT&T, to name a few. After a hugely successful sales career, Steve continued to offer his vast experience and executive background to serving on two corporate board of directors and consulting for a technology company based on the east coast. During this time, Steve sought to get back to his love for golf and take on a pro shop role working at The Crossings at Carlsbad, a golf course in Carlsbad, CA, which is surrounded by the major golf industry leaders like TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist, CobraPuma, along with custom putter manufactures such as Scotty Cameron, Evnroll (Guerin Rife) and Toulon. While working at The Crossings, Steve met Kornel Heard, a member and dedicated short-game practice guru. They developed a close friendship, based on their common bond and allegiance to a carpenter from Nazareth (not PA!) and their love for the game of golf. Over a dinner meeting, upon seeing what Kornel had created as a putting training aid he had developed for his own use, Steve was blown away and encouraged Kornel to patent this "game-changing" home run of a putting innovation to help all golfers from tour pros to rank beginners. The rest is history!
